Binance.US, America’s home to buy, sell, trade, convert, and stake digital assets, today announced that the platform will now support mainnet NEAR deposits and withdrawals. Deposits and withdrawals for mainnet NEAR are now enabled.
NEAR is the native token that is used to power smart contracts, pay for transaction fees, and engage in staking activities. Known for its speed and efficiency, NEAR Protocol is able to process around 100,000 transactions per second, enabling low-cost transactions to execute near-instantaneously.
“We are thrilled to be supporting mainnet NEAR on Binance.US as we continue to deliver more value for our institutional investors,” said Tricia Lin, Head of Listings for Binance.US.
An early investor in both Binance.US and NEAR Network, Tom Serres, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Warburg Serres said, “Warburg Serres is extremely proud to see Binance.US and NEAR Network come together in a meaningful way. As early backers of both projects, watching the maturation of both organizations has been powerful. This new market structure will deliver incredible value to the world and allow all US investors access to a highly competitive and high-growth Layer 1 ecosystem.”
Please note that Binance.US supports mainnet and BNB Chain (BEP20) NEAR. Binance.US does not currently support Ethereum (ERC20) NEAR deposits and withdrawals. Do not send ERC20 NEAR tokens to your Binance.US wallet. We will be unable to recover tokens sent to the wrong network address.
